Itching
Itching is a sensation that can occur anywhere on the body and manifests as a skin irritation that creates the urge to scratch the skin. There are many different causes of skin itching, such as an allergic reaction, eczema (atopic dermatitis), fungal infections, psoriasis, and others. Itching is best controlled by avoiding the temptation to scratch, applying moisturizing lotions, and wearing loose clothing. Most of the time, itching disappears on its own and does not require medical treatment.
