Contributors

As part of our commitment to changing the relationships that underpin health-care, we are pleased to announce that we have an unbelievable opportunity to gain skills as patients.

Members of our Medovate community are invited and encouraged to join us for free for our monthly improv lessons with an instructor from Second City©, Jonny Nelson. Additionally, we invite you to join our mindfulness leader, Ellen Katz (a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), every Wednesday at 9 AM CST for I AM Meditation. We also are in the midst of implementing a monthly Tai Chi class with the help of a Tai chi master, Yang Yang, PhD.

We invite you to read and learn about some of the key contributors to Medovate’s mission of changing health-care:

Ellen Radha Katz, MS, LMFT

You can experience the wisdom of Ellen Radha Katz, MS, LMFT every Wednesday at 9 AM CST for I AM meditation. Ellen Radha Katz brings her extensive career as a psychotherapist, as well as the nuances of communication and a hybrid of approaches, including integrative mind-body-energy methods, to the Medovate community. In addition to serving as Medovate’s mindfulness leader, she seamlessly weaves together her wide range of training when working with clients and patients including Internal Family Systems, Holographic Memory Resolution, Eriksonian Hypnotherapy, Somatic Experience and more. With undergraduate degrees in both Religious Studies and Ethnomusicology she has a foundation that extends far beyond traditional psychotherapy. In keeping with the contemporary wisdom for the treatment of addiction, Ellen has spent most of her career investigating how recovery, spirituality and creative expression are integrally related. She is an invaluable member of our team who has continually passed on wisdom from herself and her many mentors to our budding, young staff.
